Illinois Central College provides an affordable avenue to quality education, technology, cultural events, and personal enrichment to the members of its community. Our East Peoria Campus is located near the intersection of Routes 24 and 116, just east of the Illinois River. It is situated on more than 400 acres of beautiful, wooded terrain and is home to five major buildings. Our Peoria Campus is located near the riverfront amidst the flair and activity in the heart of downtown and consists of two major buildings.

Our students range from traditional high school graduates to 40-year-old professionals to adults seeking a better career. That's why we offer accommodating schooling with courses offered nights, weekend, and summers. Some students are pursuing occupational certificates with hopes of entering their chosen careers while others intend to obtain their associate's degrees and transfer to four-year colleges or universities. Still others seek to improve current skills or simply take courses for personal enrichment.

The College faculty and staff pride themselves in supporting the College philosophy, which states: "The student is the center of all that is done at Illinois Central College." Technology Services at Illinois Central College is dedicated to creating and maintaining a technology environment that promotes and expands access to technology for academic, instructional, and administrative activities for the entire college community. Blackboard is a web-based course management system that ICC uses to deliver online courses, hybrid courses (part online, part face-to-face) and traditional (all face-to-face) courses. Blackboard is accessible through a computer anywhere the Internet is accessible. Students taking online courses will use Blackboard. Instructors will inform students taking traditional courses if Blackboard is required for the class.
