Illinois Valley Community College is a comprehensive public community college located in Oglesby, IL. The College district covers all and parts of eight counties in North Central Illinois. There are 21 high schools, 24 public and 11 parochial elementary and junior high schools within the College’s service area. 4 transferable degrees AA, AS, AES, AGS 24 occupational degrees AAS 24 different certificates Blended Courses over 2% of credits earned Online Courses about 5% of credits earned during the Fall and Spring, over 10% of the credits earned during the Summer We are a member of AQIP as part of our commitment to continuous quality improvement.
We take pride in offering quality course offerings taking advantage of technology to prepare our graduates for their futures in the world with regards to experience and skill in utilizing technology. Blackboard is a large part of that, face to face courses use Blackboard in addition to blended and fully online course offerings. All divisions of the college have offerings in blended and online formats and the trend continues to increase.
